For more complex projects or if you need guidance in determining the best type of appraisal for your situation, consultations are $125 per half-hour within the Billings area. Contact for a quote if you are outside of Billings.

Appraisal fees are competitive and are based on an hourly rate of $175 per hour.*

*Additional charges such as travel and/or mileage may apply. Appraisals required within an expedited timeframe of 2 weeks after signing a service agreement will incur a 50% surcharge.

ESTATE APPRAISALS (FEDERAL ESTATE TAX, PROBATE, ESTATE PLANNING)

For estate appraisals, the square footage of the residence is used as a general reference, and varies based on the complexity/quantity of the contents.

For example, a 2,000 sq ft home would translate roughly to: $5,000-7,000 depending on the contents

NON-CASH CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTION APPRAISALS

Appraisals for non-cash charitable contribution purposes start at $695 per report. Fees for donations are due to their complexity and the quantity of IRS guidelines that must be followed. For a donation of multiple, similar items, the fees are reduced.

INSURANCE APPRAISALS

For smaller-scope projects such as appraisals for insurance, a general guideline is that we can appraise 1-3 items per hour with a 2 hour minimum, or $350.

RESALE OR OTHER MARKET VALUE APPRAISALS

Appraisals for resale in order to determine the current Market Value of an item start at $125. Contact for details. These appraisals are most often completed remotely - through photographs and information provided by the client.
